The reason we called our BIG BLUE "D" The Mobile Insecticide is because we tended to have bugs begging to crash into us!
We purchased our Intense Blue Dodge Durango from the now defunct Murphy & Shelby Dodge dealership in San Fernando, California. They ordered this Durango to make a Shelby Durango but decided not to convert it. It came with all the bells and whistles on the inside, while the outside had the basic equipment. We did some customization of the Durango over the years. This SUV was fast and fun to drive! The last time I saw this truck, it was parked in an apartment complex parking lot in Newhall, California...I didn't have the time to stop and find the current owners to ask what they'd been doing with Big D. |
